| Job description: | We are retained to act for this prestigious market-leading lender who due to increase market share are currently looking for qualified Mortgage Advisors. Our client is one of the UK's largest mortgage lender and is the specialist home mortgage provider for this blue chip group. Immersed in mortgage solutions, you'll help customers reach the right decision about the mortgage to buy their new home or advise them on the insurance to keep it safe. However big or small, the advice will be given with the same professional and approachable style. If you know your mortgages, have a friendly manner and an aim for targets, you'll enjoy real satisfaction. To make the grade, it's also important that you have around two/three years direct customer contact experience and are either CeMAP qualified or equivalent. You will be accountable for the following key competencies: Keeps fully up to date with all mortgage products and services, responding promptly to customer enquiries received in person/by post or by telephone through leads from other colleagues in branch. Identifies customer needs and sales opportunities at the counter or sales desk and, if relevant, sells the appropriate mortgage product or service. Use of Connections meetings in branches. Is proactive in making required numbers of self generated appointments utilising existing customer database. To conduct mortgage interviews with customers face to face, providing advice and a recommendation where appropriate and actively selling and introducing appropriate Group products and services. Cultivates strong working relationships with branch colleagues, providing appropriate training, coaching and support to maximise referral opportunities. Iidentifes referral opportunities from customers, and pass to other product specialists You must be able to work as part of a team within this progressive organisation as well as able to work towards targets and identify cross sales opportunities The successful candidate will enjoy an excellent remuneration package with additional rewards and benefits one would associate with a market leading global organisation as well as ongoing career progression.
