Neil Moakes is brilliant at what he does and he has helped us get great mortgage deals on a number of occasions to enable us to gain full ownership of our house that was shared ownership when we moved in. Met with Sarah Jane Martin at the London Home Show initially seeking general advice about the Help to Buy equity loan. Was immediately told that it wasn't an option for me as it "only makes sense if you earn loads of money". No explanation as to how much "loads of money" actually was in and also quite interesting as she hadn't even bothered to ask me what I was earning at that point, so clearly made an assumption about me based on my appearance?
In addition to that very awkward and abrupt introduction, she then went on to be very unfriendly and unhelpful and even went as far as to say I shouldn't be meeting with "people like her" until I was actually ready to buy a house. A very clear lack of communication skills, very unfriendly and cold service. I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but my experience meeting with her was quite upsetting and I feel the need to warn people to AVOID this company! Especially if you are a first time buyer or inexperienced and need a friendly and reassuring person.these people aren't it!
